Work Preparation Officer
Full-time | Location: Budel
As a Work Preparation Officer, you support the production organisation by carefully processing and managing technical and administrative information. You work within a clearly defined process and ensure that all data from the drawing office and client is fully and correctly processed before being passed on to production or assembly.
What you will do
- Processing and verifying data
- Entering data into the work preparation system, both digitally and manually
- Processing changes from the client or drawing office
- Communicating changes to the head of production
- Checking drawings for legibility, completeness and visible errors
- Reporting shortcomings in drawings via internal forms
- Ordering materials based on supplied project information
- Comparing orders against the pre-calculation
- Checking and reviewing cost prices
- Tracking issued documents, production drawings and factory orders
- Recording stock movements and issued items
- Placing orders for stock management
- Maintaining a clear annual list of factory orders
- Keeping the workspace tidy and well organised
- Checking the functioning of hardware and the embossing machine (steel labels)
- Monitoring compliance with quality, occupational health, environmental and safety procedures
What you bring
- MTS / MBO-4 (vocational level 4) thinking and working level, preferably in a technical discipline
- Precise and structured way of working
- You enjoy working within a clearly defined and repetitive process
- You can switch easily between different tasks
- Basic experience in work preparation or administrative process support is a plus
- You can work independently within clear frameworks and consult with colleagues or your supervisor where needed
